Rhyming
At the Rockies game this evening, I wanted to get Evan a Colorado Rockies Hat…
Me: “Evan, do me want to go get a hat?”
Evan: “No...how about something that rhymes with hot dog,”
Me: “What’s that?”
Evan: “A hot dog!”

We had dinner tonight with Michelle’s parents, and Papa made steaks. I got Evan to try a piece (which is an amazing feat) and then I asked him…
Me: “See Evan, isn’t Papa’s steak delicious?”
Evan: “Ya Po, it’s pretty good. It taste’s way better than yours!”
Michelle: “Your hair smells like chocolate”
Evan: “That’s because it’s brown!”
Evan and I went golfing for the first time yesterday for his birthday. A nice guy at the golf course was asking him about his game…
Starter: “is this your first time playing golf?”
Evan: “No, we practice alot at the driving range.”
Starter: “Oh really, how far can you hit the ball?”
Evan: “… ummmm...(pauses)… about 2 or 3 miles.”
Michelle: “Evan, are you supposed to argue with me?”
Evan: “I’m not arguing, I’m just telling the truth!”
Michelle: “Will you please throw away this diaper”
Evan (plugging nose and gagging): “No, it’s too stinky!”
Michelle: “What are you going to do when your baby has a poopy diaper?”
Evan: “The Mommy will have to change the poopy diapers, I’ll just change the pee-pee ones.”
