Me: “Emma, please go flush the toilet.”
Emma: “I DID!”
Me: “I didn’t hear you.”
Emma: “… I flushed quietly”
Every once and a while i’ll go check out the comics on the XKCD website. They’re witty, funny, and pretty fantastic.
They now have a new book out called Volume 0 with a collection of the best comics, I may have to order one soon, and really anything from the XKCD Store would be pretty cool!
The final day of the Michelle Birthday Countdown was the Wii game EA Active. It was fun for us to all try it out, but we were pretty sore after following the workout for 30 min.
Yesterday was only 3 days until Michelle’s birthday. She keeps taking about going to the ballet and the performing arts center, and especially about taking Evan to see a show. So for day three I got us 3 tickets to the Nutcracker ballet the Sat after Thanksgiving, it should be fun!
Day 2 was a pair of slipper boots from Old Navy. Hopefully they will keep her warm when it starts getting cooler out here.

To my dearest Michelle…
How do I love thee?
Let me count the ways…
5. I love you because I consider you to be a blessing in and to my life. I value you greatly as part of my life. You are my friend, a companion, a confidant, and a partner.
4. I love you because you always forgive me for all the stupid stuff I do.
3. I love you because of the way we play silly games, but you always play anyways.
2. I love the way we glance at each other across the room and know what each other is thinking.
1. I love how you love me.
I love it when Emma has some important news to share. Last week she said:
Emma: “Daddy, you can do amazing things!”
Me: “Oh yeah, like what?”
Emma: “Hmmmm, well, you can fix things, and you can get dressed all by yourself, and you can go to work!
