We love living in Colorado.  The weather, the people, the city, it’s all good.  This was just reaffirmed the other day when I snapped this shot.  Even the Wal-Mart parking lot is more beautiful in Colorado.

Evan had some choice words this week and Emma has started giving us some good saying for the Kids Words of Wisdom. If you haven’t checked them out lately, there’s some good ones!  Which one is your favorite?

When we were leaving school today Evan accidentally slammed his hand in the trunk.  It was pretty bad, the finger is all black and blue, and he was in alot of pain.  While on the way to pick up Emma I asked him…

Me: “Evan, does it feel like your heart is beating in your finger?”

Evan stops crying, stops and thinks for a second, and says: “No. It feels like I slammed a hard door on my finger!”

I took Emma to the Museum of Nature and Science today, and when we walked by the Egyptian exhibit, I said:

Me: “Emma, do you want to go see the Mummies?”

Emma: “No, I already have a Mommy.”

Me: “No, not mommy, the mummies.”

Emma: “I have one Mom, I don’t want any more mommies.”

Here’s some pictures for the family back in CA and around who missed out on Trick or Treating with the kids this year.  Evan was a hockey player, and Emma was a Ladybug.  They were both the cutest kids out in Stapleton on Fri night, and they got a TON of candy.
