I spent some time creating some cool designs in Illustrator and ended up making desktop backgrounds for my computer. Most of them are pretty minimalist to preserve neatness on the screen and conserve memory. I’ve added them to my portfolio page and now you can download them and use them on your background too. So there’s this really awesome site created by a freelance graphic designer in Canada. His name is Nick and he has some of the best tutorials for Illustrator i’ve ever seen on the net. I’ve been making some very cool designs using his tutorials. Check it out at www.ndesign-studio.com
It’s spring break, so that means I can sit back, relax, and take a well deserved break from school. So what am I doing? Trip to Mexico, no. Mammoth? No. I’m building a patio awning. Actually, I’ve been wanting to build it for a long time, so I’m glad to finally get a chance to do it. I’ll post some before and after pics soon. As soon as it’s finished, BBQ at our house!
Evan’s been giving more and more demands directions from the back seat lately.
Me: "Evan, you are a backseat driver!"
Evan: "No I’m not, I’m not a backseat driver."
Me: "Yes you are, you’re a backseat driver."
Evan: "NO! There’s no steering wheel back here, only in the front!"
